City Grammar 1946 National Savings Ceremony

    

Outside the Sheffield Telegraph.

The above ceremony was held to raise the "arrows" on the National Savings Target.
Jacqueline Betts (Head Girl) raised the arrows accompanied by Patricia Currie and Margaret Frith.
From the town hall the girls travelled in the mayoral limousine to the Sheffield Telegraph building
at the corner of York Place.
